If a receipt you have just scanned is labelled as a ‘duplicate’ it means that the same receipt has already been added to Tyro Accounting. This would occur if all the information of that receipt, like the merchant name, date and dollar amount all match another receipt. You can choose to delete the duplicate by opening the menu option after it finishes scanning or if you think that it is not a duplicate, amend the information filled by the scanner so that it can be saved as a new receipt.
