To record fees against a loan, you must first create the loan in Thriday's Asset and Liability register. Then follow the below steps:
1. Click on Tax
2. Click on Manage Balances
3. Click on Add Balance
4. Click on Expense
5. Then select the relevant loan from the dropdown menu under the heading "Loan Fees Charge"
6. Click on Save
